About Me

Greetings,

My name is Taylor Davis, owner and trainer at Dogs Will Dog. Thank you for visiting my site and considering me for your canine services.

From 2014 to 2015, I attended the Tom Rose School for Dog Training, completing two of their programs. Under the guidance of some of the top trainers in the country, I learned a diverse range of training styles, methods, and philosophies, providing a solid foundation for my career.

Upon completing these programs, I worked at a large boarding and training facility in my hometown of Bloomington, Indiana. However, I quickly realized that a year of formal training was not sufficient to satisfy my thirst for knowledge. I prioritized learning from anyone willing to teach me, embarking on a journey across several states to gain valuable skills and a deeper understanding of the animals I love.

I have trained dogs in various capacities, including Protection Dog Sports, Service Dog Training, and working for the second-largest vendor for Police K9s, the Department of Defense, and Customs and Border Patrol in the state of Florida. Throughout my career, I have also extensively worked with dogs experiencing severe aggression and reactivity.

Training dogs to perform a wide array of skills and tasks has deepened my understanding of their capabilities and the requirements for achieving and maintaining high training standards. My commitment to excellence in dog training is unwavering.

My mission is simple: to provide quality training with lasting results. I aim not only to train dogs but also to assist their owners and handlers. Whether you have a working canine or a beloved companion, I am dedicated to equipping you with the skills, knowledge, and understanding necessary for a harmonious life with your dog.

Building trust, relationships, and bonds between people and their dogs is paramount. Without these core elements, no amount of positive or negative consequences will be effective. It is crucial that our dogs see us as both leaders and companions. Achieving this ensures that our dogs will be attentive, respectful, and capable of navigating the world around them.

Thank you again for considering me for your canine services. Happy training!
